In August 2023, Full Send Pickleball / 孚信匹克球 made a game-changing entrance into China’s growing pickleball scene, launching the DUPR China Series Tour with powerhouse brand sponsors Joola and Tyrol. For the first time ever, players across China had the opportunity to establish official DUPR ratings, thanks to the expertise of Lee Whitwell—former MLP MVP and current APP NextGen Coach—who joined us on this groundbreaking journey. Beyond DUPR integration, Lee led elite player clinics in Henqing, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Taiyuan, and Chongqing, helping elevate skills and grow the competitive pickleball community.
In November of 2023, Full Send Pickleball / 孚信匹克球 brought DUPR COO Kevin Kim to Hengqin, Guangdong Province, for what was at the time the biggest pickleball event to ever be put on in China. Kevin was able to connect with Mr. Huang Yujie, Director of the People’s Livelihood Affairs Bureau of the Hengqin-Guangdong-Macau Deep Cooperation Zone and exchange ideas about the importance of implementing a rating system in the growth of pickleball in China. Over the last three months of 2024, nearly 40 MiLP China events energized the pickleball scene in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, and Chongqing, culminating in an epic National Championship at Simple Touch in Chongqing for DUPR 12, 14, and 16 divisions.

In June 2024, Full Send Pickleball took a major step in advancing competitive pickleball in China by bringing in USA Pickleball’s top experts—APP Tour Director of International Training Byron Freso and Leader of Officiating Marsha Freso—to lead referee training programs across Dalian, Chongqing, Beijing, Guangzhou, and Zhuhai. With an overwhelmingly high turnout, this initiative highlighted the growing demand for structured officiating and professional tournament standards in China.
